failure comes in many forms

dear ingmar,

i have tried to germinate plants from seeds. and after 2 months of careful watering and meticulous observation, both to no fruitful avail, i have finally realized in this moment of great despair that i have failed.

it was not that nothing germinated, for indeed small, delicate shoots have managed to bore their way out from the darkness of the all too expensive miracle grow potting soil...it's just that the seedlings are much too young and fagile to be transplanted to the garden and would require perhaps another 1-2 years before they reach a reasonable maturity.

i have no patience for this.

so i've abandoned the entire ordeal all together.
